Steven Paul is the founder of Clergytech, Inc. He has over 30 years experience in ministry law, management and consulting. He is nationally recognized as a leading specialist and practitioner in the fields of ministry management and administration as well as a respected author, lecturer, and teacher on the subjects of corporate law and tax law affecting ministries and clergy.
Tiffany Tatum is the principal accounting consultant of Clergytech, Inc. She has over 15 years experience in ministry law, tax and accounting. She is a graduate of Marshall University where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting and then her Masters of Business Administration. She has extensive experience in obtaining recognition of exempt status for both faith based and other non-profit organizations and specializes in management, advisory services and taxation of churches and ministers.
Tiffany is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also actively volunteers in her local community where she is a member of Rotary International, board member of Tri-State Local Foods, Vice President of the Barboursville Community Wellness Council and has served on the board of The Mike Lakin Memorial Scholarship Foundation and The Kentucky Association of Food Banks. She loves to hike and travel and reads extensively for business and pleasure. She and her husband, Chris, have three children, Audrey, Maggie and Ethan.
Elizabeth Powell is a paraprofessional with over 10 years experience in ministry accounting and payroll. She specializes in write-up and payroll services for small to medium size organizations. As Accounting Manager, Elizabeth is responsible for overseeing accounting services for many of our clients. She grew up in a small town with a close knit family before attending West Virginia University IT to obtain her Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting. She loves spending time with her nieces, Sheridan and Aubrey and is a avid “Tigger” collector.
Stephen Flesher has over 38 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on CPA support. Flesher serves as Clergytech’s General Counsel and assists our staff and clients with any legal matters needed.
Stephen earned his Bachelor’s degree from Marshall University, his Master of Public Administration from West Virginia College of Graduate Studies, and attended law school at George Mason University. He has worked as an attorney in the Huntington and Charleston areas of West Virginia and currently serves as the City Attorney for The Village of Barboursville.
